Teaching Practice - Phase 2(Second Week)

Went with naseeha for the substitution hour in 9D... Was a messy class... Children were quiet noisy.... They were in their own world, playing in groups... But some were simply talking, and I interacted with them, had some friendly talks.... Just liked it....

Class was nice... Everyone listened and responded... They were interested when I told them about wall hangings and responded nicely...

07/01/2025(Tuesday)

Got first hour substitution. As it was a free hour for them, at first they were reluctant to listen. But when I all them about Onam and putting athapookkalam, there were interested.. They shared about their memories from last Onam celebration.... Slowly they came to the topic and did the problems... During second hour, I told about melas and that too was interesting for them. They starts talking when I tell them about such things and I had to bring them back.....

09/01/2025(Thursday)

Had lunch duty today... Went to serve it on time... A lot of children depends on this mid day meal.... Had 7th hour today.. During this hour children are thinking about going home... And when I asked them some questions, they slowly started listening and hence getting their attention.... It was my activity lesson plan today.. At first, they were reluctant to sit in groups, but after giving activity they were eager to complete it first... And soon they came to the conclusion...

Had breakfast duty today... So reached early... A lot of children comes for having breakfast.. Got substitution today... And was able to complete 2 lesson plans..

One lp was my constructivist model... It was a great success... At first had a little confusion regarding finding length of diagonals...Then they soon found the area of square, when diagonal is given...  During second hour took inquiry model... At first they didn't got the idea what to do... But yes slowly they came to the track and found the area of rhombus....
